Custom Coded Functionality
Most businesses will have pretty straightforward website needs. However, some need super specific functionality that is not available through existing plugins. Lucky for you, you’re working with an actual programmer. Therefore, If your site DOES need something special like calling a 3rd party API, I can help! But don’t worry if you’re unsure whether or not you need this. We’ll talk through your requirements during the prep phase. I’ll then provide an estimate based on the complexity of the project. This service is an add-on to any website package.

Can I keep my existing domain?
Yes! If you have an existing website and want to keep your current domain (URL), I will work with you to transfer your custom domain to a new hosting provider that allows us to build your custom WordPress website. If you do not yet have your domain, I will guide you through that process as well.
Do I need professional photos?
It’s not a requirement, but it is definitely a plus. Photos of you and your actual business give your customers a better idea of who you are and what you represent. However, we can supplement with stock photos as needed.
Does my branding need to be in place?
Yes. I can create the outline of your website without these things, but we will need your logos, fonts, etc. to be ready to go when we enter the building phase.
Who writes the copy for my site?
You! With some help. Nobody knows your business as well as you do, so you will be responsible for crafting the copy for your website. However, I will provide you with guidance and AI prompts to use so we can ensure that your brand voice comes across just like you want. If necessary we can also involve a professional copywriter.
What kind of timeline can I expect?
My goal timeline for your new website is two weeks, but it can differ due to how available you are for feedback and how many revisions we have. We will also need to make sure your media (logos, images, and copy) is in place as early as possible. If you have a project in place and need your site done by a specific date I will do my best to help you reach your goal.
Are there any additional costs?
Yes. For all website packages you will need a domain (usually ~ $15/year). For a WordPress site you will. need a hosting plan (usually ~ $3/month paying for the first couple years up front). An eCommece site will require you to have a Shopify account ($29/month) as well as a premium theme (usually $200-$300) to ensure that your shop has all of the features needed to sell, sell, sell.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! This is a big investment in yourself and your business. I want to make this as easy for you as possible. All website packages can be paid in four monthly installments.
Do you only make WordPress websites?
No! I will also make you a Shopify site if you need an eCommerce solution.
